I seen five doe and just didn't feel comfortable with a 43 yard shot. Another guy shot a doe tonight though, so the sled got some fresh blood! I was able to watch a guy take a short rodeo ride in her too! Lol

Brock, is that a randomn 5' stump in a field on a woodline?

Like milo said, you have to put in some sort of backer to make them come around or they'll face the blind the entire time.

You can see how this guy has to walk around it to eat. The blind was about another 15 yards to the 8 o'clock position to the cam.

Here the corn is in like a cubby set to channel them in. The blind is about 20 yards to the cams 5 oclock.

Even that big limb in the middle of the pic is designed to turn them. Their main trail is straight back. So when they come in they hit that limb turning broadside and head for the corn. Prevents them from doing that stupid stand there for 10 minutes looking around crap.

Thanks but I'm not hunting until tomorrow. Dumped corn and checked a cam. I ran deer off it last night They were back 2o minutes after I drove away.
Good luck Rick!

Button buck hanging in the shed!

My daughter had the crossbow but got the shakes waiting for this deer to turn broadside. She looked at me and said "can you do it?" Lol.

We need the meat so I nodded and attempted to get up and take the crossbow. I knocked over a can of pop and the deer ran off. It came back a couple minutes later. Shot at 15 yards and the deer ran maybe 20 yards and just stood there. After 30 seconds or so its tail shook and it fell over. Never seen that before but it's field dressed and hanging up now.
