Sipping some coffee and getting ready for a morning sit at the ridge. Haven't been able to sit here in the morning yet.

My dads neighbor owns the property next to the one I hunt. He shot this buck from down there yesterday.

I thought I had it figured out. Got up this morning with the alarm on my phone. Getting ready and saw the time on the stove- thought oh shit I gotta go! Lol

Stove time was wrong of course so instead of getting out here a half hour before legal shooting time it was an hour and a half before.

The ridge never seems to disappoint. Right off the rip had 3 doe and a solid 9 pointer. He freshened up a scrape and rub. Seemed he was following the does but wasn't overly interested. Also had a fork horn stroll through all before 7

Damn time change had me running late. I got in and settled a little after 7. I didn't bump anything and the woods seem perfect. Just did a little rattling. Who knows.

I was on time for a change. Got to a buddy stand I've been waiting on a windy day to hunt. It's out of the wind. Last hunted it near oct 1. Support beam on ladder is hanging. Strap gone. Wtf??? It's a really flimsy ladder. Not strong steel. Started climbing and Fugger was gonna bend in half.

Moved to a different stand after getting all sweaty and pissed off. Got sat down at 7.

Seen 4 so far, 2 does and 2 bucks. Had 120 8 pushing a doe at first light. Just saw him again grunting up a storm. Solid sit so far.
