Yes, but I haven't over hunted it. This was the first week I hunted it consecutive days. I think that they are just finally getting off of their predictable summer pattern and wandering around looking for some tale. I've never been busted in that spot but it is a public spot so who knows who/what has been through there. I know of another guy who hunts near there but know nothing about how he hunts, how he does scent, etc. I'm hoping it's just a bit of a lull. I did get spoiled seeing deer literally every sit when they were still on pattern lol

Jason good luck on recovering the doe. Keep us posted. I'd try to keep calling or ask a couple neighbors maybe you can get a cell phone number or look them up on Facebook even maybe.

Pops saw 13 all together. Never went more then 30 minutes without action. Great first sit. No shooters. A couple fired up young bucks. My nieces and sis are in town also so I spent the morn with them.
Saw one lone doe this morning. Can't hunt tonight, but I'll hit it again tomorrow evening, hoping to catch the end of rain.

Seen a small buck in Erie last night, trying some city limit hunting outside of Tiffin does not look promising

The wife and kids went to visit her mom and won't be back until Monday. It's almost hot out but I'm hunting tonight.
I saw a fresh scrape from when I was here a week ago and a small one has gotten way bigger. The new one is 20 yards from my blind. I still have not seen a deer at this property and have no cams set up but I know they're here.
I will be at a different spot tomorrow morning and hit another one tomorrow evening. Good luck to anyone going out this weekend. My freezer is full so it's buck time now. Antlerless and small bucks are safe.

Don't have a choice. Braydon only gets to hunt so many days. You never know...seen one cruising a few minutes ago, so it is possible. Good Luck If Your Out!

Well just had an encounter with trespassers who wanted their stand and camera back, that I didn't take . Land owner and sheriff were called and they took off

Saw a lone doe this morning, that was it. At around 5:20 I had a 150" stud muffin cut through behind me. He looked very interested in the trail he was following. Grunted and wheezed at him as he left. He stopped and looked hard but kept going...My heart is still racing.

Found her! It took me most of the day but I finally recovered my doe a few hours ago. I drove out to the landowners house again and happened to catch up with him on the farm. Got permission to track across his property and it paid off. The blood trail consisted of a few drops every 50 yards or so. I ended up just following the path that looked most like a dying deer would run down. Ended up finding her and getting her drug out and straight to the butcher. The meat still looked good.
