Had basketball practice his morning so I just got settled in at noon. Not expecting much but you gotta hunt when you have a chance to. I will sit here til dark if there is activity. If not, I'm going to climb down at 5:30 and go to the second practice of the day. I'm hunting a transition area off of thick cover with a big high wall in the background.

My whoopsie deer killed on public land . Not sure how I misjudged him . Heck , I didn't even realize he was broke off on one side .

Thanks . He went about 50 yds after the shot and crashed and burned within 3 seconds . Definitely satisfying putting a good shot on one .
