Back at it this evening. Hoping to get a shot on the nice ten that I seen three times last night just wouldn't give me a shot. Got the same wind just no cloud cover

Same Lil four pointer. Stood fifty yds with his nose to the ground and let me climb back up my double ladder. Paid me no mind. On the search for sweet November tang!


 
Good luck everyone! I'm not hunting tonight due to pizza shop obligations, but I'll be dropping Mason off so he can hunt. He's got a dandy four year old goofy racked buck on his mind now. Lots of history with this one too, I'm sorta rooting for the deer.
 
I was driving back to the stand I got skunked in this morning and all of a sudden had the urge to hunt a different one 15 miles away. Hoping the distance will maybe put me somewhere with more activity I guess. Back in the tree!
 
I have been hunting a thicket in the corner of the state prpoerty. I have been seeing lots of deer but can't seem to find the right spot to sit... the tree selection to put a climber in here sucks ass. This morning i sat on the ground in a thicket about 20 yds from where i saw a 130-140" ten point last night but the damn thing got behind me again this morning and once again didnt offer a shot. Right now i am set up in a marsh that seperates a thicket (so thick i had to crawl for a while) and a pocked corn field. Right now i can here something stirring atound in the reeds but it won't commit to my grunt calls. Hope to get a chance at one...
 
Had a shoot 8 pass by 2 times now mouth open just wondering. Both times he was behind me which yealds no shot for me which sucks. Hope he passes in front of me, nice big scrape next to me, looks fresh.

Fugg....i passed out around 1 o clock for a bit woke up sweating balls. Been up since and now getting chilly. Tick tock. Come on deer
