I've seen five deer and a coyote. One nice buck came right in to the decoy. Good mature buck but I think he is the one Mason passed yesterday. No way old dad could shoot him. I did get some good video.

Finally had some action. 3 does and an old buck passed through. No shot.

Seen 8. 4 does, 4 bucks. 2 shooters. It was very close to being over too. Damn fine 10 point on the heels of a doe heading my way and he cut her off.

Last day of my month long vacation. Goes by quickly. I almost didn't go out, but got out after daylight. Had a bb chasing a fawn shortly afterward. I stayed out til 830. I didn't see or hear my wife leave for work so I went back to the house. She was gone, so I took a dump, changed into a lighter jacket & here I am again. Got settled in & two mature does cut across too far out with no worries on their mind. Good luck fuggars !

Just saw two more does as I got done typing. They've all been about 65 yrds out. No bone.

Seen another buck and had the 10 come back through. Been quiet since 9:45.

I had not luck with the one rattling sequence I did this morning. The decoy worked well however.

Saw three does way off in the distance which I'm pretty sure were laughing at me climbing with this stand. This is my first day ever out to hunt. I figure I've screwed everything up by now, but I did find some old timer's homemade steps in a tree next to me so I guess this spot isn't 100% awful.

Argh! 130ish 8 point was less then 10 yards away around 8:45. That lucky mofo never gave me a shot. Unreal. Could have threaded the needle as soon as he came in, but I figured he was going to give me a wide open look. Damn!!!!

Felt like someone was spotlighting me as I walked in this morning... That moon was insanely bright....

Saw deer from legal shooting time until 8:30 and then nothing and got down @1015.... Grabbing a bite to eat, letting the dogs out, washing my hunting clothes then back at it around 2....

Let 'er rip out of the stand. Urine smells like ammonia not like human pee. Unless your diet sucks, then maybe bottle it up. But I've never had any issue just peeing out of the stand.

Now the massive grumpy I dropped at 10:30, that needs some help. Pretty sure no other animal in the woods has poop that smells like that. HAHAHA.
