Had a small buck under my tree at first light this morning. Then a couple chasing in the valley below me at 8:00. At 10:15 I had two button bucks and a fork horn come through. Been quiet since then. Unfortuanately this is my last morning, so I'm sitting until 11:30 or 12:00 then I'm pulling this set and heading back north.

Yeah, chili dogs last night have me contemplating my existence. But at this point I'm afraid to move in this thing. Well, at your advice, I did irrigate the land, and I'm now watching a drop evaporate off of the metal bar. That cold you know... shrinkage...

Layers create difficulty when searchng for a clear avenue to drain one's bladder. Well, when you're hung like a field mice on a cold winter morning anyways. No hang, just protrusion. lmao

Argh! So f'n close. I couldn't have mapped a better route that would get me that close to my stand without giving me a shot. Stands in a tree line/fence row. Damn deer has my head spun! Fun hunt

Good news is he had no idea I was there. Watched him for a good 10 minutes after that. Through a grunt/snort wheeze at him witch altered his course and he looped around but never closer then 35. Hopeing to get a crack at him in next couple days

Finally made it back to one of the spots I was saving for rut. Found this scrape about the size of a hood and several smaller ones, got a tree the size of my thigh torn up about 40 yards to my right. Hopefully somethings moving.
