Let's do this! Good luck and I hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving. I'm hoping for a turkey day buck. Going to have to be a good one. 2 family events today. One at our house. If I miss any of it, it will have to be for a dandy buck. Otherwise I am here to just enjoy the woods and be thankful for what we have.
Nothing going on here either Eric. I don't care. I'm hunting just to enjoy the hunt. My hopes for a big boy are at maybe 5% right now. I'm Ok with that. Had a good 3 year run. Passed some nice young bucks. Have meat in the freezer. Gun season, second rut, or late season still ahead of us though. You never know unless you are out hunting. That's where I am today.

Three pheasant hunters, no deer. Maybe somebody should tell them they don't release pheasants at this wildlife area anymore lol
Didn't see shit other than squirrels, birds and turkeys. Had 3 of them about 15 feet above me, 3 trees away. One spooked right as I got set in my stand. The other 2, that I didn't even know were there, were obviously comfortable until it was time for them to come down and start bitching and moaning. Left my jacket in the truck thinking I wouldn't need it, I was wrong. Came down around 10 or so.
All the people stating they haven't seen deer makes me wonder if tonight is when we should have hunted? Not that I will be able to with family coming to our house. . . .
Any chance your buddy shot his buck around the Sandusky/Seneca county line area? I swear I have pics of that deer
Super young deer but he was beyond pumped.
