In a tree with the climber. Never hunted this spot before. More or less doing a test to see the view for gun season. It is thick here. Few shooting lanes. Then again, it is a high traffic area. Just might kill one tonight. My young 6pt is so tempting. I bet he is tasty and his rack is way cool. He might be a monster 6pt in a couple years though. That would be sweet.
This showed up a few times. Braydon is stoked and hoping for his first kill from a buddy stand.

Lots of activity on the cam last 2 nights, 5-6 does in a pic. Several with 2 nice bucks in them. Not sure what it means.

I tell you it's hard to get in the gun season and Christmas spirit when it's 75 degrees out. In in my scentlok savanna suit right now
We had a bunch of guys in and outta the range today blowing the cob webs off of the slug guns and rifles....

Had a big 6pt and button buck. Big 6 is not a shooter as he is young. Probably best he didn't step into my shooting lanes though because he was going to get shot.
Had a 4 point pushing a doe and her two twins at 3, all in range. At 4:45 a basket 7 point was dogging a doe, both of them in range. Passed on the last doe as she was of medium size and wouldn't put the amount of meat in the freezer that I'm looking for

Seen lots of deer driving to stand at 2:30. Thought it was gonna be stellar. Seen 2 small bucks and a Doe around 4 pm and that wa it for the night

Georgia suburbs have a lot of deer. If I was hunting I could've shot a giant tonight. Saw about 30 deer walkin the dog and found my third deadhead in two walks lol
It means I am getting burnt out. He is a cool looking buck but I don't think he will ever be more than a 6pt. I know the chance of improving the genetics in the local herd by killing this one deer is miniscule. I would feel better though. Did I mention he is a cool looking deer? Lol
Another part of me wants to see just HOW big of a 6pt he will become. Lol
Excuse me while I ride this fence. I know I should pass him but if he catches me in the right mood I'll likely shoot him. Honestly I am hoping Garrett gets a crack at him. Be a fantastic first buck for him.
Hard telling what he might grow into but your right, Garrett would be happy with him!
