Mason and I are set up on opposite ends of the best gun season thicket I know of. If they move we should see something.

I'm in the woods. I had to gather up a doe that Mason shot last night. I haven't seen a thing since I finished that chore. Gun season has been rather slow so far this year.

Settled in a new spot next to the biggest oak on the farm. Sitting above the turn of a shelf as it leaves our N/S holler and meets the E/W holler. Never really sat here. It's where we plan to build the cabin. Figure anything can happen at this point in the season, just pick a spot where I can cover some ground and relax for a few hours. Good luck out there if you're out.
Out again hoping for a big one to come by.
This is one our target bucks, my aunt that lives across the road called me last night and said your big buck is out here at the salt block and boy is he a pretty one. This deer is literally 15 feet from their house, I open the front door and watch him, then watch him walk off. All you can do is laugh.

Sitting at a creek crossing hoping a good buck strolls past. First hunt for me this week as ive been stuck working in Pennsylvania. Heard 1 shot at daybreak and nothing since. My dad is sitting about 500 yds east of me close to a bedding area. Really hope he gets a deer he hasnt shot one in close to 5 years.
Appropriate Kevin. On the ground. Shooting sticks out. Locked and loaded in what used to be a target rich environment. Nothing yet. Button buck sounds tasty right now.
