Nice work Jim!

Saw 4 tonight. BB, 6-point, solid P&Y 3 year old 10 point and a mature, tall, tight, heavy buck with a split G2 and broken tines that obviously has the same genes at my 2008 buck. He's got 2 holes in him right now, but the will to live. Might be a long night. Momma ain't happy with herself. And K was asleep the whole time! lmao

Good luck Jesse! Can't wait for the hero shots

Chad can kiss my ass with that drag. What a nightmare tonight getting Tracie's buck out. I'll post a story after the hunt tomorrow. I'm worn the fugg out...

Haha!! Always good to have a tough drag every once in a while!

Zeroish with windchill. Tough drag. Sounds like the things heart attacks are made of. Congrats to you and Tracie!

Garrett decided he wanted to hunt this weekend. All the times we have had available and my little bugger decides he wants to hunt in this cold. So I told him "Alrighty! Let's layer up and rock." Ended up seeing two but they were brief glimpses. Popped out of the woods. Needed to head west. They headed east and over a little rise in the field. Lost track of them. Waited a bit to see if any others would pop out or if they would head back our way. Nope. We rolled a little early because we needed to be somewhere. Surprisingly, neither of us felt cold until we got to walking back to the truck. Weird.

Been there and done it Jesse. I feel for you brother, it ain't much fun. But I will say its funny how your adrenaline takes over and gets it done. But then the adrenaline runs off when its time to put it in the truck???. At that point its funny to think about what a man wouldn't do for a piece of plywood! At least the haul is xtra rewarding! Congrats Again!

Congrats to you on the doe Chad! Short or long drag, still rewarding out in this weather!

I told my dad the same thing about walking and he agreed. I was chilly standing in one spot, but down right freezing when walking back.
