Looks like the rain will be here in about an hour. Looks like I'm in the direct line of fire.

Just starting to sprinkle again. Looking at the radar it will probably turn into a pretty steady rain for a while

Had a fork horn come through and confirm this setup is done. Raining pretty good. Gonna use this opportunity to move the set while its raining.

Raining here seen some smaller bucks moving. Went to a different spot a few miles down the road had a buck in the drive walk right past the truck while we was in it never looked at us just nose on the ground. Gonna sit here a little longer go get dry then try it again.

Well got the stand moved. It is only about 40 yds away but good for a different field of view. Plus now that I'm up in this tree I feel like I have a lot more shooting lanes.

The rain has pretty much let up. Just trying to decide to stay put or go run a attend and sit a different spot tonight and then just sit here in the morning.

I think that is what is going to happen.

Just now getting ready to walk back to the stand at a different farm. Rain should be stopping shortly after I make it in the stand according to the radar

Back in the ground blind and been here for about 2 hours. So far I have seen rain, birds and squirrels. No deer yet.

3 does and a 4 point we seen too giants on there feet around 1 as we were driving back to my house.both prolly mid 150s it was raining like hell then but they were still moving.

Well rain has finally stopped, now the wind is starting to pick up. Saw some turkeys move through. Down to that golden hour.

I had my shower, lit up the smoker & then a downpour arrived. Another rain delay until morning.

Ended up seeing a 6 pointer on my evening hunt. Soaked to the bone. Getting things washed dried and smoked for the morning

From what I'm seeing here we are starting the beginning of the lock down phase. Lots of fawns by them selves..... lots of lonely small bucks out running around aimlessly.
