Went out this evening. On seen 1 doe. She snuck in to 10 yds behind me before I knew she was there. Part ninja. Won't be able to get out again until Sunday. Hopefully il get some shooters moving in my area

Little windy today and spitting ice.Just on a doe hunt but still nice to be in the stand.Have my uncle and cousin in some good stands hope it pays off.
My cousin shot over a big 10 yesterday.Oh well maybe he will get the next on.

Got into my setup that I moved yesterday. Had my pull up role get wrap around my climbing stick twice before I finally got my bow into the tree.

Great morning so far. I have had 2 bucks within 5 yds of my stand. A basket racked 8 and a P&Y 10. Now if I can just get grandpa Bullwinkle to do the same.

It's odd. The wind was much worse down at the house than it is here higher up. A bit of slight drizzle here & there is all.

Pretty excited to say the least, going into school for 2.5 hours of tests then heading home for a mental "doctors appt" in the woods. The LOs son sent us some pics from some dudes trail cam of three shooter bucks in daylight. I know exactly where the cam is so my dad is gonna set up there either in a ghillie or a climber, we have hunted there before so we aren't just stealing some dudes spot lol. I'm going down near the river where I never hunted, looks like a good funnel with the river pinching against a steep ridge and a river crossing
