Why would you head to a different property after seeing 14 does? I'd be hunting their right at their bedroom door.

I was hunting where I work, it's like an outdoors camp. Boy Scouts and other groups are there on the weekends and the conditions for me to hunt there are that I can't hunt it when groups are in....which means this afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday are off limits.

Mother fucker ..... right after I leave this very spot ...

Certainly not a target, BUT STILL A DEER !

Yeah, they got my number alrighty. What's really weird is that, all my cams are showing me oodles of doe & buck pics. Mostly at night, but hardly any pics of rutting activity. The does are not being followed & the bucks are just milling around. I haven't heard any chasing going on either.

Sat in the same hole this morning we spent yesterday afternoon in. Neither of us saw anything. Worst part about that spot was no cell service. I couldn't keep up with the TOO happenings. We're headed back out shortly to sit up on a ridge. It's a spot we saw deer in last year and the cell service is great!

I got moved to this stand at noon sat down heard some crashing coming right to me and 2 does come up they wonder off then the next thing I know the damn gas well starts up. So I've been listening to that damn thing run for a half hour now.

So much misery and pouting going on today fellas, what gives? You are seeing deer, and you're not at work......how can it get any better?!?!?

Keep at it, have fun, and enjoy the time in the woods. It will happen sooner or later!

Thanks fellers.

This is same area where I got the daylight video of Captain Jack a couple years ago and right where I just got daylight pics of Darryl. Its thick as hell all around except for this opening. Creek below pinches travel to the logging road below my stand. Ridge top is right behind me and two fresh scrapes are near the stand. Got in and out without bumping anything, so it should be fresh tomorrow.
