Well, I'm rooting for all of you, but you are also making me a feel a little better about being here at work. I originally had today off, but based on what I saw the last three full dyas in the woods, I decided to save it for later this week with the hopes of things busting loose.

Buddy shot a nice 8 this morning, I'm doing everything in my power to stay put. In a good spot but the wind is pissing me off. The 8 came in at first light didn't offer me a shot and walked straight over to my buddy. 10 yds shot, died within 30 yds.

Alright fellas, I'm heading out. Warmer then I would like but I think with the winds we have today the bucks I seen last night should do the same thing but this time I plan on being in the right spot and not MOVE to another spot 20 yards away lol.

Besides, everybody in the house is sick and I don't want to be here and get the cough and cold they have lmao.

I'm heading out at 3 today. Hopefully il see some movement. I've been seeing deer but very few I'm shooting range recently. It's a little warmer than I'd like but anytime in the stand is a good thing this time of year. Just never know what could happen.

I saw a really nice buck go across the cut bean field behind our house as I arrived home from work at 145. He was limping badly, looked like his left front leg was broke. He may have been hit by a car or shot, I don't know, but something sure hurt him. He went into the ditch behind the house. I may go back there is a day or two to see if there's a body...

If I was a betting man I would hunt near water today. The bucks could care less because they only have one thing on their minds and food and water are not even on the radar lol. The does are going to be the ones near the water pulling the bucks with them.
I hope your right. Got a beaver pond 100 yards south of me.

Put a spot and stock on some deer today. I was sure that I saw a doe and buck bedded together . Long and short there was just a small buck by the time I made it there.
Got withen 10 yards of him, no doe. Oh well, kept me entertained for an hour today.

Here he is bedded at about 10 yds

Settled in a new setup. I am sitting the same corner that I sat in 2009 when I shot my 22" wide 12 pointer. Not so sure I will have the same luck as the property is recovering from some douche that I finally got removed. He was all over the place all the time. It was no wonder he didn't kill any deer and I stopped seeing hardly any at all. He got kicked out about two weeks ago, so the property hasn't been hunted for two weeks.

In a blind at my sister's. Not much hope for seeing any nice bucks, but there are plenty of does. Brock, can you tell the deer to move tomorrow, as I have to go back to work Wednesday? Lol...
