It's awfully quiet out there after this rain! That doe ran in about 80 yards total that I saw and had I had my head turned for 15 seconds I'd never had known it!

So far this owl and I are the only things here.... lol
Winds are switching directions a lot.... But liking the cooler temps that's for sure.....

Good luck with that buck Jesse, hopefully he'll be back....

Good luck too everyone who made it out.....

I got the trots this morning. Already climbed down once and have to go again. Going to cut this hunt short. Wind is whipping and I can make a quick scouting trip on the way out. Good luck out there fellers!

Got in the stand for about 20 mintues and wind shifted and was blowing right over my plot so I hopped out, don't think the wind will be in my favor until tomorrow night and Friday, kind of upset if wanted to hunt this front but I guess not

Winds perfect here, so perfect a yote walked into a shooting lane at 20yds and I shoot high and give em a buzz cut. SOB. Missed a yote last week too. Kinda bummed out cuz I've never killed one.

Really thought I was going to see more activity this morning. Got skunked last night but though cold morning would get them moving. Wind direction is good for this stand and not blowing too hard. Still haven't seen anything though.

Well between the rain, sleet and wind I decided to bring my first set to an end. Pretty uneventful morning with the exception of the squirrels early on. Was still nice to get out there and see the daybreak and listen to the woods wake up. Good luck to everybody and please be careful.

I think tomorrow night should be a good night, it shouldnt be windy, and they would be starving by than and forced to get up and move around due to hunger. Good luck you anyone going out

These deer aren't laying where there is no food. They aren't bedding far from the acorns.

Only had a small 4 point come in at 8am....walked right across my stand at 5 yards and remained upwind of me the whole time...never got picked off either...was hoping to see his grandpa but no dice this morning...had to get home and make breakfast for my Bday!
