In the stand, 8 deer came through out of range just as I finished attaching my harness, one small 8 among the group.

Geoffrey and I put some serious miles on the boots today. Covered two properties looking for antlers. No luck, but we had fun. Only saw one dead deer. She has been there a month or so and I am pretty sure she was hit by a car. Did see a dead coyote. Looks like someone shot it in the last month or less. I don't care. Dead is dead. Need some more of the to disappear.
As I arrived at the property to hunt, the landowners daughters were out riding their utv around the field with dogs and goats following them. Would've been cute if I weren't trying to hunt. This warm weather sucks ass.

My last 45 minutes got ruined when the neighbor thought it would be a good idea to take his daughter for a ride on his john Deere gator. I know he drove right past my truck parked behind the barn.
Gonna shoot a doe or button buck.....2 bucks show up instead...WTF? My luck has went straight to hell in a handbasket. rotflmao Nice day though! Still enjoyed the time in a tree.

One of the bucks I had been wanting to see finally walked out tonight. I couldn't shoot him. All I kept thinking was "Man he will be a nice one next year" I had to let him go this time.
