Live from the stand!

I could of shot a few does and a small buck. Nice seeing deer at least . Prolly won't get to hunt till next weekend now .

Saw one from the stand at 40yds. Basket rack year and half buck. Climbed down. Bean field was full of deer. I was certain I knew how they were entering the field and that is why I was hunting where I was. Nope. I was incorrect. Now I know where they exit to come into the bean field.
 
Saw 1 fawn, 2 BB and 2 does all within 25 yds. The last doe I saw was the nanny I was hoping would show up. She got to taste the muzzy and expired within 30 yds. Couldn't be happier. I'll add a pic when I get a chance
 
Just caught up with this thread! Wow!!! Lots of guys out there hunting! Awesome stuff!!! Congrats to everyone whose had success and keep at it for those who came close! I'm hoping to get out for my first sit maybe this Saurday evening coming up!
 
Guy hunting the neighboring property shot a doe tonight.... Good size and no fawns with her.....

He saw 5 deer tonight, 3 doe 2 bucks.... All the bucks were young....
 
I saw adult doe and 2 youngsters then 30 min later, 2 adult does and 1 youngster walk 50 yards from the back porch I was sitting on just before loss of shooting light while smoking cigars w/ my neighbor.

The things you see when you don't have a deer gun or a bow...

Had a nice cigar in your honor drinking bourbon down in Gatlinburg week before last James.... We were watching bear instead of deer though lol
 
Saw a buck in the beans while glassing tonight that I'm going to have to get a closer look at. He looks mature from 350 yards based on body size.

I took my son last evening and we had 5 bucks come out at 7:40 into the alfalfa field next to the corn. They could have come straight down the corn to us or angle away to the other corner. Yep, they angled away about 70 yards. He experienced his first hunting adrenaline rush.:smiley_coolpeace:
