Live from the stand!

Hoping the break in the rain and fairly cool out will have them moving a little more this evening

I was going to take the night off. Instead I decided to use the rain to get set up a blind at a new property. On the way over a big doe jumped out in front of the truck. I didn't hit her but it made me want to sit in the blind after I set it up so here I am!

Same here. It's a nasty one. I'm trying to get done at 130 today if that happens and it looks like it's going to let up before dark i'm going to try to get up a tree on some scrapes I found a couple of weeks ago.

Pretty much the same thing here. Maybe not "pouring" anymore but still a light, steady rain. I held off this morning. I WILL be out somewhere this evening.
 
I'll be hitting a spot tonight that I haven't been in this year. Wind should be perfect for it. Low expectations for an acceptable buck, but I should see deer. At this point, I'll be happy to see deer.....

 
Now this feels like hunting weather. Jumped a couple buttons on the way in and made a couple mock scrapes near the stand. A bit breezy but feels like a good night for movement with the weather moved out. Good luck everyone
