I couldn't imagine hunting in the North West part of the state today, my house sits on two acres and is surrounded by fields and winds are like 20 mph, I have never had any luck hunting NW Ohio in late season with high winds.

Elected to gather some more firewood this morning. Just saw a couple groups of does on their feet. It's cold enough out that's for sure.

Should get out for evening hunt and surely will freeze my ass off. Ha

Saw a few doe on the move around 1:00 feeding on browse from the looks of it.... 1 good size doe and 2 average size....

I went out this morning but didn't last long. I think I got out at 6:45 and I was back in the house at 8:15. Holy moly it was cold. Trying again this evening but with an extra layer of clothes and some warmer socks and gloves.

I got my big boy pants on now. They're insulated I also have my long johns, 2 pairs of wool socks, insulated boots, t shirt, flannel, coveralls, bibs, coat, hat, neck warmer, gloves and hand warmers. Can't fuckin walk but I'm sitting in a chair so we're good!

Sitting on the ground with ml today. Haven't hunted this spot since September due to pressure however the neighbors get real lazy a few weeks into the gun season. Usually good for a late season deer
