I think it was the big catfish back in August....used up all his flipping luck for the yr....
Heading out shortly....crunch time. A buddy of mine killed a doe this am so there is a little hope....

Great rabbit hunt today. Ran both dogs and a couple good chases. Could have killed one but i didn't take a gun...
Drew is out, 60 degrees and 15 mph plus wind. Bottom of the 9th and 2 outs... expecting nothing....lol

Nothing, just like his season. 1st time in 9 yr the boy didn't kill one...he's had great success up until this yr and I know you can't always have great years but dang, it wasn't from lack of effort! He passed deer early on but it has been brown and down for awhile and we just didn't make it happen. No acorns really affects our season, no fields around here. The majority of deer moved to where the food was and Drew chose not to sit over corn piles or feeders last yr. Nothing against it, he done it for years when he was younger but he wanted to hunt "normal" starting last yr and also wanted to hunt solo more.
We had a great deer season as a family and i can't believe its over! Thanks to all that followed and gave encouragement!

Drew killed another as well!
One week left, i can't believe how fast rabbit season goes! Hunter ran extremely well today and we had a day to remember!
Finished our day by frying the last of our catfish from fall.
Life is good!

Drew and I spent about 15 hours doing 14 sets over the last 3 days chasing coyotes. The majority of the time was spent hunting with @Wildlife.
Denny took us to some of his best properties and we had a great time! Unfortunately I failed to connect on the only one that gave us a shot. I still cant believe I missed....dang!
We both look forward to making it happen again in the future!

With all the crazy shit going on, kids are getting restless sitting around the house.
Took a rifle and caller and Addy and I spent yesterday eve looking for coyotes and sheds. Didn't dind either but at least she gou out of the house!
Drew and I have been fishing all afternoon.
Patiently waiting on turk season. Looking more and more like kids will be home and we will hit it everyday.
