they are treating me for the tick bite to be safe but they want me to go have blood work done because of my lymph nodes in my groin are swollen, i figured it was a hernia but he didnt seem to think so.

Wow, hope things work out. I remembered my daughter had a tick on her leg several years back after playing a HS softball game at a field basically in a city area. It was attached under her sock on the shin. Called the Dr the next day and they recommended right away to get her in and get on antibiotics. So far the only side effect is she is a smartass to me.
