Just showed it to my future wife and apparently Mason has a bright future with the ladies.

She didnt even mention the deer who just had a bolt pass through him. This from a girl who doesnt like when animals 'die' in movies.

Took a while, but here is Mason's buck video. Please note; his remarks to Mrex were completely out of respect for his ability to kill large in size whitetail deers...

It’s taken me a couple of days but I found it!

This. This right here is why we do this. Mason freaking nailed the excitement in this video and it makes me smile to think about it to this day. Take a kid hunting folks, it could change everything for the both of you.

Enjoy the blast from the past on this windy Sunday. He’d probably kick my ass if he knew I was bumping a thread with him and a crossbow. Goes to show that the weapon of choice shouldn’t matter. Hunt with what you’re comfortable with.

I e enjoyed reading this again. Funny how quickly they grow up and perspectives change. We drove down to our taxidermist yesterday to pick up the buck he killed this season. While driving home he turned to look at the deer and said, “If Josh hadn’t been there I wouldn’t have shot him. I wish Josh could have gotten a shot”. Ten year old Mason would have ran his mother over with a truck for a shot at the deer he killed last year. Lol.
