You just gotta keep looking and when you find them, pay attention to the land and surroundings. Good spots are good spots usually year after year. You can get on Morels.com and The Great Morel and look at the pictures. Look at the vegetation and background as to where the pictures are taken. Good Luck!

I looked for a solid 3.5 hours yesterday for sheds and morels and found squat. Gonna have to look in other places I guess.

apple trees with dead branches, elm trees that are dying, pin oak, butter nut, when the yellows are up I've found a lot under pines. I have also found them in an area for no apparent reason lol

Great finds guys! I found some yellows and grays yesterday, but had to put them in the freezer. I got sent to Harrison, Ohio for the week. Do any of you guys know where that's at? Lol. On the Indiana line, just west of Cincinnati. I am either hunting arrowheads or mushrooms after work, which ever looks the best! The mushrooms are surely up over here.

Spikes popped up last night in my woods. Found a bunch along with a couple little gray ones. I like spikes just because they are so easy to see compared to the rest of them!

Nice work guys! I haven't found a single one yet! They just aren't growing in the areas I've been looking in. I need to look in other areas.
