Nice job, Gordo... those are some good looking shrooms right there! Hopefully they start popping in NE Ohio here soon!
Dante and myself looked today but we didn't find any. All we could see is ramps and may apples as far as the eye could see. Just to wet and not enough sun here I don't think. Maybe another week we will have some luck. I would say a couple more days of sunshine but since they are calling for no less then 50% chance of rain everyday until middle of next week I don't think the sun will shine anytime soon after today lol.
Yea man, this rain is really starting to get old. The sun was finally shining good yesterday... but that was just a tease!
Last year it was bone dry up this way and we were praying for rain to help with the shrooms, this year is the exact opposite. I think the problem we are going to run into now is the growth of the floor of the woods is going to be so tall and think by the time we get some sun that it will be like finding a needle in a hay stack.
Yep all my undergrowth is above ankle high already...

this 75-80 degree weather should pick things up pretty well around here. But like you guys said, the floor of the woods will be high...

Went out this afternoon in the rain and found NADA! but some guys at work have found quite a few blacks in the last couple days
Went out for 2 hours after work and found 1 tiny gray... woods was soaked and just not enough sun yet. Hopefully the friday and saturday sun will get them goin.

Found some good size yellows yesterday at a new property thats elm tree heaven. I still havent hit the motherload.
Nice find!!! Are you down in Southern Ohio? Just curious, we aren't finding many at all up here yet, let alone yellows. Best reports I've heard up this way is close to a hundred grays from a guy that hunts them daily.

They are up here.....talked to two people last night that picked a ton of greys, I mean a ton! I need to get out there and start looking. The one guy said he found them on a field edge that butted up to a wheat field....Thats new information to me
That's good to know, calling for a couple of sunny days tomorrow and saturday, hoping to get a mess to fry up for the UFC fight Saturday night!
