Going to head out and see what I can see. After yesterday with what CJD and I went through ( not anything we did ) I want to get out there. Went out at 9:00 A.M. to burn a heater and saw 1 buck and 3 does at the top of my drive way. Still have a nice blanket of snow so I am hoping for a good afternoon hunt.
I must add that button buck I harvested weeks ago is by far the best venison I have ever had. All of it is like butter, so tender and tonight we are going to go with Sloppy Joes but the tenderloin and steaks are TOO die for.
Can't believe I have my winter gear out and wearing it this early. Currently 32 degrees.

Morning all. Finished my morning duties. Decided to take an hour or so walk in my woods. Squirrels are winning the game of hide and seek so far.
It's going to be a long chilly afternoon but what the heck, can't get a deer sitting in the house...........Brrrrrrrrrrrrr.
