in the early 70’s my cousin bought a VW microbus. My dad asked him where he’d get parts if we got in another war with Germany. Seems silly now but we’d been in 2 wars with them in my dad’s lifetime. We act now like there will never be another war like those(like we didn’t think we’d all be quarantined lol) but that’s a little naive.

Not just corporations, workers too. When we have minimum wage workers demanding 3x their worth and full benefits to do an entry level job that should never be a career, corporations have to look elsewhere for labor. When we have unions who then organize those people against the corporations to demand benefit packages beyond their replacement worth it drives prices even higher.

Yes thats all true but tell me how a minimun wage worker can live - uhm still kinda stuck back in the day when Americans could earn a living wage with mostly one wage earner in the family - shit now their offering 7 year car financing
