Movie/tv suggestions

Watching a classic with my youngest son, it is amazing how many stars are in this movie.

Turning Point: The Bomb and the Cold War. 9 part documentary.

Being commissioned in 1986, this EXCELLENT documentary rolls me back, solidly, into my chair. To tie it together with, 'now'. They use the Ukrainian and Russian conflict to give the last 80 years that we've lived with nukes - emotional currency. I think they did great job providing a multitude of prisms to expand the understanding of the issues, liberal wanks, warmongering hawks, Russian, USA, By of Pigs, divided than united Germany, Glasnost etc.

My second duty assignment was with USSPACECOM, in Cheyenne Mountain and worldwide ground based sensors testing the employment of the ITW/AA system and making 'sure' we could end the world. This documentary is spot on.

They do a good job for millennials and others that were not part of the system and/or too young to associate current conflicts with the very real, sudden and possible, thermonuclear ending of the world. It recounts the many errors and individual courage of some ordinary folks that prevented the ending of the world - I counted 7 times in the series, both Russian and American.

Reactions: Boarhead
Days Of Thunder II appears to be coming out.
Definitely won’t have some of the key actors that made the original a success.

Harry Hogge:
All right. While we're still under a caution, I want you to go back out on that track and hit the pace car.

Cole Trickle:
Hit the pace car?

Harry Hogge:
Hit the pace car.

Cole Trickle:
What for?

Harry Hogge:
Because you've hit every other goddamned thing out there, I want you to be perfect.

Not been around much heres my catch up.Been a shit past year between getting shoulders done and an issue with horrible headaches. Got that one figured out finally after waiting 5 months to see a Neurologist some meds and injections in the back of my head helped that issue. From July until January i had headaches every single day. They said it was Occipital Neuralgia. Just had my left shoulder repaired 3 weeks ago.
I will say having the right shoulder replacement was alot smoother recovery. Having alot more pain on this one and keeps me up at night. Havn't had much sleep. Been doing the daily stretches so hopefully when I start therapy in 3 weeks I can get back to normal. The right replacement is stronger than I thought it would be.
Thanks for the suggestions. Just finished watching Reacher, pretty good show so was Tulsa King. Next up Yellowstone 1923.
Went through some WW11 shows and documentaries last time.
Hopefully this shoulder heals well and I can get back to doing things I enjoy. Gonna miss not turkey hunting this year but as long as I'm ready for deer season and can shoot the stickbow it will be worth it.
