Taking a down day I found a show on Netflix called “southern survival”. They test gear and have fun doing it. Kinda stupid but it’ll get your brain working and you might learn something. Like how the stupid glass breakers you see at the hardware counter is better than the hammer style. Or how a redhead in cow outfit is somehow sexy.

He’s got some pretty good lines in each episode. The ending lines of the sheep hunt episode were thought provoking.

I just finished watching The Last Narc, a 4 part documentary on Prime. It’s about the kidnap, torture, and murder of Kiki Camarena, a DEA agent in Mexico in the 80s. I read a book about this years ago and loved it. This series takes it further regarding the ensuing investigation and what it found. The extent to which this event was interwoven with Iran Contra, CIA, Mexican and US governments at the highest levels is mind blowing. The coverup is even deeper. A really fascinating look into the world of cartels, intelligence, and government corruption. And this poor guy was just a pawn in their macabre game. Really fascinating and I highly recommend it if you’re interested in this sort of stuff.
