Headed north in the morning to try and put some meat in the freezer, deer are moving in the am so I will be in the if it is brown it is down mode.

I'm in the field both Saturday and Sunday. Something about black powder and 50 cal that makes me giddy.
Well.... Im here! Im hunting a friends property in Utica. Man.... my stand is set up on 5 beat down trails that intersect in multiple spots all in a 50 yard area.
Day break was a shooting gallery except all the ruckus was on the neighboring properties....lol
Tomorrow brings another day.... lol

Weather!!? This is crazy, way to warm! I love cold muzzleloader season. This is like October. Anyone having much luck? Saw 21 turkeys yesterday in Wayne National. No deer. Only heard 3 shots entire day.

Have seen quite a few but i like the cold and snow this time of year.
I havent seen anything. They are here though because there are fresh tracks in my tracks from yesrerday. They also ate half of the corn i put out.
Question: Where can I get me one of these multiple shot muzzle loaders. It seems like a lot of folks have them...lol

Took a friend of mines daughter out tonight and she got her first deer. Seen a few but the bucks my brothers are hunting are nighttime movers need some cold weather to get them to the fields.
Well im done. Skunked didnt even see a deer. Crazy because there was so much sign.
Im headed back to PA tomorrow.

We got it done tonight. My youngest son and I in stand. He picked the deer. We got a good shot at 25 yards! The trophy is the experience! I was excited because of his excitement! Awesomeness!!!! Oldest helped drag it in.
