Hello all! As seems to be appropriate, I want to introduce myself. I'm 38 and near Dayton, OH. I've been lurking on here for a month or two. I've recently become interested in hunting (hopefully deer, elk, turkey, etc.) but am just as new to it as I am to guns and archery. Any and all comments and advice are greatly appreciated as I'm a complete novice, and don't know anyone well enough in my day-to-day life that hunts. Thanks!

Welcome to the site, lots of good info and fellowship to be had here.... We have an outing in July and there will be plenty of guns, bows and good information spread around... You can learn a lot at these gatherings and people will give some solid advice to new folks to the outdoors....

Ask away, this ain't that kind of group. Just don't ask about going in coyote dens...that doesn't go well around here.

Seriously though, this group is a bunch of great folks that enjoy helping others. We'd all love to help you become successful in the years to come. My first suggestion would be to go squirrel hunting, you'll see tons of deer!

Thanks, all! I'm sure the Huntin' School 101 forum is going to get sick of reading all of my inane questions.
Not at all man, we'll help you out in any way we can. Check out the summer shoot thread, alot of us will be there and we'd be glad to show you some stuff.

Welcome to TOO!!!!

Lots of great topics already covered since this site was formed! Use the search option or just browse aimlessly and start reading and you'll be occupied forever! Lol

If you have questions, throw them out there and someone here will try and help! Lots of great people here that are happy to help each other out!

Pull of a chair and enjoy our campfire! It can get pretty comical at times....:pickle:

Ask a way. There are some great people on this forum that will help any way they can.
