Was out Saturday morning seen 4 this year does no Mama and no bucks, then that evening another property seen Mama with two kids in tow and six point with nose to ground. Sunday morning hunt on same property as Saturday morning. Passed on nice 8 point (might regret later) was using wind to check bedding area. Also had 2 six points nose to ground, but no does. Will pull full day hunts starting this Thursday-Sunday, Clermont County

My sister drives from Caldwell to Marietta in the mornings ( noble to washington counties) Saw 5 deer in a field, 1 being a nice buck, and saw a nice dead one at 14 mile marker....

Only action I saw today was a huge doe with two smaller does. Apparently her fawns still in tow, but no bucks in tow. Mild temps this morning and high winds don't help.

Had a buck stare a hole thru me for close too half an hour.... 1.5 yo 6 point.... He was probably scanning the swamp for any action he could get on but he had too look thru me too see it lol..... Two trains went by and he didn't bat an eye, just moving his ears in and out and licking his nose every few minutes.... Took a time out too shake the day out of his fur and them back at staring again.... He never moved his legs once in that whole time.... Kinda weird if you ask me hahaha

What is the story with it Hoyt?

I had to go look it up too!

Got a call last night from a guy who hunts the property next to the one I got the doe on Saturday. He asked if he could get a buck that he had shot. Turns out it dropped 10 yds from my stand.

I have pics but for some reason tapatalk won't let me upload them. Says that it is an action the admin won't allow.

My buddies arrow deflected off a limb and missed this warlock at 22 yds yesterday afternoon. He heard some scurrying and threw out a few grunts and brought him right in.

Pretty much what Huck posted. The neighbor and I have a pretty good relationship. When we are hunting these properties we pretty much park right beside each other. If we catch each other we will stop and shoot the bull and let each other know what we have been seeing as far as the action goes. This property is the tits, you just never know what is going to be coming through. I plan on being back in there Friday morning, I don't think he will be the biggest in that area before it's all said and done.
