Read an article about cougars in Michigan. The comments parallel what we hear in Ohio regarding bobcat and bears. Deny deny deny for decades. Make the visible ones disappear. Deny some more. Eventually share a feel good story about "the first cougar cubs in the wild in over 100 years." In full disclosure: comments from Facebook users should be taken with a grain of salt. They sure did echo what we heard about bears for decades though. People had seen them. DNR squelched the "rumors". I guess we should be thankful we aren't dealing with cougars and wolves like Michigan. Doesn't make the bobcat problem any less of a problem.
