I'd like to know what he was up to. ...
It’s my observation over the years that cats have no time table and will lay for as long as it takes in a spot waiting to pounce. Countless of cat naps in that span with ears on full alert till the least sound causes those eyes to open and Target gets the green. Target almost always loses. So definitely cat.
