Ohio cold temps

Outhouses are still very common in AK. Wood seats aren’t near as bad as the walk back to the cabin. The walk to the outhouse usually isn’t bad, mission bound. Once that mission is completed... it’s time to get your ass back to the heat! And that’s when the cold sets in. Or at least for me.

There's a raw beauty in this cold that I enjoy seeing. The moon last night was unreal in combo with the snow. I could see deer easily at 125 yards. I'm enjoying this despite this issues it brings.

It’s the same way again tonight! Crazy how bright it is right now. Just shut the game off and stared out the window for 20 minutes trying to pick up any movement.

Im not a huge fan of cold weather. Being outside in it seizes my back up. But I don't hate on those that like it. To each his own.

Fuck the ice. Have some mercy for the millions of older people who are basicly locked up in their houses who can't get out safely in this cold temps for the fear of falling and breaking bones.

Wrong or right it's a sorry wish on other people. I never enjoyed cold weather when I was young. Being raised dirt poor our water bucket froze solid every night in our old house.

I didn't mean to come down hard on anyone special. The point I was trying to make is not correct to wish for something for one's self that will damage others. IMHO

I'm finally off for a couple of days & had every intention of getting out to the property today for a sit. Going out to spread some corn & add feed to the bird feeders changed my mind. Damn breeze is picking up.

Are the old people who wish it wouldn't snow or ice correct in their wishes. Their wish would severely damage the billion dollar industry that is weather related in Ohio. From plows, to salt salesmen, to HVAC people, propane drivers, hell right on down to this lil brown fella I watched run a front end loader at the Cargil salt flats on Bonaire Island in the Caribbean last spring.

We all have our crosses to bear man, I-75 was established in 1950 and runs from the upper Peninsula of Michigan all they way to Miami, we can't blame anyone but ourselves for where we are.
