Landowner was tired of people coming to ask if they could hunt so Landowner shot it. Guy that found it had permission to shed hunt the property.
It's been a rumor for months. Part of the rumor was the owner was bragging about it while drunk in a bar. Yea, okay. I find it hard to believe... But who knows. People do some really stupid things when a big deer is involved. It is pretty coincidental though that the deer is in fact dead, and appears to have been for months....Heard that as well. Damn shame if true. Both for the deer, and the spectators.
That would be me!!!!I'm sure anyone local is wishing people would shut up.
I had a good run in Seneca County, just hope I can still find a field to dove hunt nowIt was found around Old Fort in Seneca County
I had that pic on my phone from either earlier this year or last year (supposedly was from a trail camera of a friend of my friend). That deer was well known and on property that didn't allow hunting, from my understand.Another pic on the hoof.View attachment 119726was well known
Can't be. Nothing scores that big up there.Weird, I heard Ann Arbor area.

Hey Rick..... Could you imagine finding those as sheds.... You'd give up shed hunting...Shame, that’s a once in many a lifetime deer.
