You sound like my Cousin Bubba over in Western NC. He shot a big bodied buck down there a couple years ago. Nice rack. Old old buck. Huge body. The size of the body blew him away. Said they just don't get that size down there.

I’ve seen some trail cam pictures of some Ohio class deer down around the Boone area. Nothing like that around where I’m at, so far.
