I cant do it anymore , I called it quits on hunting this year due to what happened last year and being tired of how things are these days. However... it's driving me nuts im calling my own bluff i gotta go! Made some calls this week and landed permission on a piece I hunted years ago. It's in a great spot just overran with trespassers but it's my only shot and I'm going to try it . Went today and checked and my old ladder stand is still there ! I left it for the owners family to use if they wanted but its a hard spot to get to (have to cross the river ) . I was shocked how good of shape all the hardware was still in so I threw new straps around it and she's ready to rock. Someone put up a stand right on the property line close to it hopefully they're not using it as it looks old.
