Alex Fogg, Marine Resources director, for neighboring county to the East, Okaloosa, is getting it done , creating the largest artificial reef in the world. Funny thing the County to the West, Robert Turpin in Escambia, got out bid for it by Alex. Robert got the USS Oriskany deployed, which is the largest Navel ship deployed for an artificial reef. Soon, in a standard diving 2 dive day, you could leave either East or West pass and dive the largest artificial reef (SSS United States) ever deployed and the Largest navel ship ever deployed for an artifical reef (USS Oriskany).
