My gut sounds like it’s grinding stumps at the moment. Gonna be pretty nice out today...probry Fire the grill up. Maybe have some cardinal bastard has been beating on the patio door all morning. I can only imagine what my truck mirrors look like this morning.

When you have a campfire, friends, a pond, the only time an electronic comes out is to capture moments.

Craving some of these over a ribeye. It won’t be long now and I’ll be able to create another years goal of eating this meal. I always ask to be able to find enough for one meal.

Saw this velvet ant about a half hour ago. Not real common as I only see two or three every year. This one was big as far as velvet ants go....a little over an inch long...and it can move pretty fast...had a tough time getting pics as it was moving at a good clip. The wife wanted to pick it up and I yelled at her...she had no idea how bad their sting is. After taking pics, I came in the house and googled velvet ants, then showed her the part about their sting. She doesn’t have a high pain tolerance and there is no doubt I would’ve been taking her to the ER.

Taking the dog for a walk a few evenings back. One of my favorite things in nature, a good hard rain followed by sunshine and a rainbow. A double is just a bonus. Makes you stop and appreciate a lot of things

After a real shit week I had @Redneckfucker meet me at my house when I got home. Needed a little cruise time with my boy kind of thing. Did some cruising and stopped at a buddies place to BS for a little bit until deer thirty. Rolled around the block of our hunting property looking for deer. Didn’t see much but an awesome sunset with a tiny buck with real potential to be something. I had him hanging out the window to capture this one.
