Not to derail, but I think we need to run this every month and not limit it to trail cams. Have a “picture of the month” contest.

That’s a lie, I’ve been working my ass off lately and have very little time to myself. My bad run of luck continues to haunt me so I find little ways to find peace. That’s what happened in this pic, a moment of clarity and peace. Hope to bring a little of that to anyone that might need it.

Spent an enjoyable day on a lake with a good friend of mine. We caught some fish, but had a blast just hanging out and BS’ng back and forth.... He snapped this picture without me even knowing until I got it in a text.....

Took this on my last couple of passes mowing the yard. Barely have enough daylight to cut the grass after work now.
Out on highway...just took a picture of that. 2 hours to go to Stroud. Gonna be a good day.

Looked like the sun coming up this evening. I snapped this picture after getting stuck in the blind tonight. Does were blowing at something across the field. They ran in behind me and stayed between me and the house.

They do, and I have been patient in not killing one as of recent. I need them to stick around to play decoy for me. BUT I can't have her teaching the young ones to blow at every little thing they smell or see. Last night was like she was playing a concert for 45 minutes. I don't think I can hold off any longer.. "IF SHE BLOWS, SHE GOES!"

Went up to my folks and helped them look in box after box of their stuff, grandmas stuff and stuff all 4 of us kids left behind. Found some good stuff, junk, donations and delivered a ton to people. Got finished last night right before the sun went down and was able to take a moment. Burned a pile dad had wanted burned all summer and enjoyed a sundown on the river. Life was good...

Here’s a pic I took of a turkey in my backyard a few years ago and another of his exit after the first pic was taken.
No story, just thankful to have this kind of morning. Although it did look better out the window then standing barefoot on that cold concrete. Enjoy the days we have folks. Easier said then done some days, I know.
