Pictures of Spring.

Found the little sucker laying smack dab in the middle of FIL's yard out in the open this morning while it was drizzling. I walked up to it and thought it died. It wasn't even breathing(no movement in the chest area and the eyes had a slight bluish white haze around the pupil) it's head was resting on its chin looking stiff as a board. I tapped it with my shoe and it blinked which restored the color in his eyes and started shallow breathing some. I left it alone and checked on it 5-10 min later and it apparently moved by itself to a spot in the neighbors yard about 60 yards away.

If it wasn't in a terrible place to stop, I could have take a great pic of a drake and hen wood duck in a little backwater today. Told Tracie that it was a sign of spring despite this weather.
