We get plenty of rain through the year. It’s been storm after storm last two weeks dropping inches at a time. We gonna dry out till Friday and getting two more days of rain.
Mine seemed to have survived as well. I guess we'll find out in a couple of weeks.Looks like the flowers on our apple and crabapple trees survived the frosts a week or so ago. Was awesome standing under them listening to the honey bees working their magic.

Dudes just trying to stay warm I reckon. Bet that dude stays pretty warm in the evenings unless it drops too low.View attachment 126762View attachment 126763
Wife took this pic today along our driveway. She said she wanted to intervene but knows this is nature’s way. Don’t know if there were any birds in there but I know there is a vacancy after today.

I've never smelled a candle, spray, or perfume that's came close to replicating the smell of a real magnolia in full bloom.
Evidently it’s still breeding season for snappers in our area. We’re chillin on our front porch and Tam says, OMG.....is that a turtle crossing our driveway? I jumped up and went to grab it’s tail and put (her, I’m assuming) in the back of my truck.

Then the next morning Karissa looks out the bathroom window to the side yard near my truck and says, “Dad! The turtle got out!” Nope, this one(male I’m also assuming, and bigger) was just outside my truck with the other one still in truck bed. I figured the female scent trail was still fresh and brought him in on a string! Lol
