I only carry CCW when on public land or on a recovery. Not worth the extra bulk for me during my normal hunting.

When I left my old job, the guys I worked with pitched in and bought me what's actually the first true pocket knife I've ever owned. Wasn't sure what to think at first since I've always carried a clip knife, but it carries well and in my office environment, it's nice to not have that knife showing.

Yeah it’s something I’d want to do on the public I plan to hunt as well. No need for me to do it on the private I have access to. Better look into a class before season I guess.

Nice little tool! That’s the style my grandad used to carry, without the lock.

I don't usually carry while I hunt... usually... But more often than not I do have something ready to rock in my truck. If I'm on the Wayne in a sketchy area I may carry, but that's rare.

I used to carry a knife everyday but got away from it thru the years with evolving work roles.

I always have a gun locked in the truck and always have one when in woods during g archery season. Never used to but I have got some pictures of ppl I don't know on cameras and in today's world, I just don't want to chance orphaning my children.

I'm headed to Tennessee soon and just read that open/concealed carry in a motor vehicle is ok as long as it's not on your person.....strange.

I’ve had this benchmade a couple of years now and really wish it was just a straight blade...rides nice in my pocket and the belt clip doesn’t look bad for dressing “up”. However, it doesn’t get abused and went a few weeks with blood on it last year. Got a little stiff while opening and closing. Even got some rust on the safety latch spring. This brings me to my question:

What do you use as a lube for your folders?

I just sprayed it down with penetrating oil I had sitting there and it free’d right up. My Carbon fix blades get olive oil. Just got my wheels turning...
