Not a pocket knife but was carried every day when I was a kid lol. The one that started my knife addiction. I was around 10 and we were camping up by sleeping bear dunes. Stop at a store for supplies and dad throughs this in a bucket along with other stuff he got. When we get back to camp he hands it to me. Talk about one happy kid lol.View attachment 170962

Going through a box and found an old knife I found in the 80s Imperial Ireland jackmaster, anyone know a way to clean the blade?

If you can't sand/polish it out, they make plenty of rust remover products. Most of them work pretty good. I think it was @Mike that has striped down a few barrels.

If you aren’t sure, perhaps a jeweler could polish it up for you….I know they have buffers similar to a grinding wheel but with soft material that they use to polish rings. Probably wouldn’t take him/her more than a few minutes.

Harbor freight sell a buffing wheel combo. They also sell just the wheels if you already have a bench grinder.
