Yes, you should try these. Fit and feel is luxurious. Ashamed that it took me this long to even bother with seeking out comfortable underwear. Thanks, Jesse. 👍🏻

They are the same thing I wear and have for the last 15 or so years, just a different brand. I happily pay the $20 a pair for the UA name because I love them.

OK OK OK. I haven't worn undies since 2003. I have the chaffing issue bc I'm fat. Only after a few days without a shower. I do like freeballin tho.

Ok, so I have never had a chaffing problem and I have something in the vicinity of chicken legs, but holy fuck these are the most comfortable underwear I have ever worn. To hell with cotton drawers, polyester rules. I cannot believe that I am actually commenting on underwear on an internet forum, but these are awesome. My underwear drawer getting a serious and exclusive upgrade to Jockey rapid cool midway briefs.
So I reads Jamie's post the other day, then click on the reference ad. Since then I got Jockey ads popping up at work, in my Gmail, and on my phone. I'm pegged for sure.

For the record I wear Hanes boxer briefs. Have tried a couple pair of Duluth but not impressed enough to switch. Maybe I'll try the Jockey, who knows...

This is a good thread. I like Kershaw.

This is a good thread. I have not carried anything but a Kershaw knife on my person in 20 years. I have three now, each with their own specific duty.

As fond as I have become of polyester base layers and outerwear for hunting and work clothing, you would think that I would have naturally sought out polyester underwear for daily use. Having worn these for several days now (don't go there. I have two pair and they were washed between wearing), I can say with absolute certainty that I will never wear cotton underwear again if I have any say in the matter. All of my cotton boxer briefs will be going to the trash tomorrow when my second shipment of Jockey's (enough pairs to get me by for over a week of sweaty work days) gets here. I'm sure some of my underwear are 15 or 20 years old. Good underwear is right up there with quality socks, good boots, good coffee, good bourbon, good power tools, good knives and Sitka gear. :D

After 15 to 20 years of cotton blend underwear and after regular washings, you have no cotton left in them they are mostly whatever the blended is...

I do love the Buck Naked underwear from Duluth, but only as a gift or at deep discount. I do have the Jockey counterpart as well, but prefer the Duluth, just not the price.

I made the switch to Buck Naked probably 5 years ago. Threw all my cotton blended underwear away.

If you do any kind of fencing regularly these plammer fencing pliers are the shit. They are made out of good forged steel, us made and are a much more useful design than the standard fencing pliers. I have broken the fence staple hook off a lot of the standard pliers, however these plammers have held up to lots off abuse. The tines on double claw are still narrow enough pull a u nail staple. This pair has probably done 200 acres of no climb field fencing and barb wire.

I think if I had only one tool to have to live out my days, this one would be in the final 3.

So most of my underwear is going on a decade old from what i bought at basic (boxers) with a few generic hanes tossed in. My ass is starting to eat it regularly.

Haven't worn boxer briefs regularly in a few years.

Also, I'm between sizes on these.
Thoughts?
Thanks for the bump. Ordered some. After this thread I think @Dustinb80 was over and we were talking about the chaffing. At that point I had realized that maybe it was the underwear with holes in them making the problem. Since then I have realized that the days I wear the old ones is the days I have problems. They are just worn out, literally, from the abuse. So I have had direct carhartt contact on the region with constant shaking. So we shall see what happens after some change. Hopefully these are better built than the last run I purchased from UA.

My favorite every day carry knife is this folder called the Timber Rattler. It was made in Pakistan and they have been making knives there for a thousand years or more. It is all about perspective but you better have deep pockets to buy this knife!
