Media/sand blasting is beyond what my goals are. I just want to protect my truck, not have a show truck.

I did not do that for show, I did it cause I could and to expedite the entire process cause I didn't have to wash or brush anything. It didn't take long at all to do it, easy to do if you have access to such equipment. It degreases and even made it much easier to breakdown the motor and other stuff.

I would come south and find a truck, might have to pay a little more but you will not have rust issues at all. You find one you are interested in around me and I will gladly check it out for you.

I’ve sprayed it before. Many thin coats as it’s pretty thin; like shooting water. Watch against over spray as it will ruin anything with over spray. Wear a Respirator.

Couple quick things to add.

I know someone who has a lift that will make it easier as well as a pressure washer and all the wire wheels angle grinders that may be needed.

O-range is my favorite color. Any crayon colors will work.

Easier to find parts and work on the body style you are looking at anyway. Little more challenge to restomod a square body. Very very few crew cabs in square body too.

It won't be a crew cab. Single cab, short bed configuration. Slammed with full C-notch, LS with twins
