Prayers please for my dad

Yes sir. Yes sir it is. I have been telling Mom and Dad this since he was diagnosed. Thank you. Thanks to each and every single one of you. Your kind words mean a lot.
We still have some fears. I won't bore you with the details as they don't mean anything at this point. There are some fears about his vision. There are some fears about how much mobility he will regain on his left side. Details don't matter much. I don't feel they can truly get a good assessment on recovery until the swelling goes down. This being based on what the doctor's have said. Not my assessment. I'm no neurosurgeon. lol
Overall, given what he has been thru, the doctors are pleased with where he is right now. If they are happy with it, I'll trust their opinions.
Great to hear that the doctors are positive at this point! Your family remains in my thoughts and prayers.
His sense of humor is still in tact. If anything, he may be funnier than ever. It is as if his filter has been removed. He is still pretty squeaky clean, but just saying things a bit out of character. For example: We keep telling mom to make sure she is eating and resting. All three of us kids and my wife keep telling her to make sure she is eating. Tonight my dad said "You guys need to quit telling her to eat. I'm afraid when I get out of here your mother is going to turn into a blimp." lmao May not sound horribly funny, but my dad would have NEVER said anything like this before.
He was taken out of ICU today. His left side is still weak, but is getting a little better every day. He is pre-approved for the rehab unit (by his insurance company and the hospital) and when he leaves the neuro unit he is currently in, will go to the rehabilitation floor of the hospital for an undetermined amount of time.
Overall, we are feeling some relief in the direction he is going. We are counting up all the small victories right now because they will add up to bigger victories. There is one big elephant hanging over our heads though. The pathology lab results have not shown up yet. We are praying they come back non-cancerous.

It's been my general experience that when test results are good, they're in no hurry to let you know, like it's routine. The sooner you know is often bad news. But yeah, waiting sucks.
