So what is their claim to the purpose of the side by side cam set up?

Correct me if I'm wrong, Charles.... but I believe the purpose is to drastically reduce, or even eliminate, cam lean that traditionally plagues the binary cam systems.

That was my understanding as well.

JB, the black cord has a single reflective strand through it. Pretty cool stuff, but expensive TOO!

Damn! Ain't never seen anything like it! Looks like a badass rig Beener! Greg's sling looks like it matches great TOO. Cool looking design and like Hoyt said, can't wait to hear Milo's take.

How much does it weigh and what's the BH? The BH looks like its around 6" if my eyes arent failing me. lol

Congrats on the purchase and I hope it performs great for you Charles!

I will attach the concept of parallel cams from G5 later. But these guys are right. Binaries are known for huge cam lean. The fix is to shim the cams until it is acceptable to you which is a pain in the ass and then your arrow sits on the bow like this /. It doesn't run down true center of the bow.

That is why I always liked the idea of cam systems with yokes. You can tune the cam lean just with a couple of twists of the yoke legs. That makes broadhead tuning so much easier.

The parallel cams puts the pressure on the outside of the cams while the cables run between the parallel cams. Keeps everything really straight. Add in the cable guard that flexes and it seems to keep everything straighter than anything besides a system where you shoot through the cables.

Bow specs:

ATA - 35"
BH - 6.25"
IBO - 340 FPS
Weight - 4.4 pounds bare

it also helps you maintain a "square" or true power path.

Most 35" bows weigh that much. The balance has allowed me to take 8 ounces off of the stab which comes out well. It was this or a Spyder Turbo. Wanted to try something different.

I get new threads for free every two years which is nice.

Baahahahaa. Did you notice Cousins' little faggy arrow twirl at the 0:35 mark?

Great shooter but he sucks in commercials. I can take the arrow twirl just not the over the top grim/serious attitude. When he has the bow at full draw he looks like someone is making fun of him and he can't decide to cry, shit or punch them (like a seven year old). Lol

You do it too princess. Lol. I think we all do in some fashion when drawing from a hip quiver.

Ha! Bullshit. Dude twirled it like a fuggin baton... He practiced that shit. Taking an arrow out of the quiver routinely, and twirling an arrow like a baton while removing it from the quiver is not even close to being the same thing.

Its impressive for sure. Very solid and fast...i really liked her. Big time bow contender. Not as much weight difference than i imagined.
