I have some groundhogs to trap my question is can they be eaten any time of the year or like other animals (squirrel and rabbits) should you wait till after a frost due to warbles.

I have ate a lot of them they are very good but never ate one this time of yearI’ve had it, wasn’t bad. But I’d not go out of my way too cook it up, unless that’s all there was left too eat. Then it’d go on the smoker for a long…. Slow…. Cook….
